Job summary

Deploy Limited, an NERS-accredited organisation specialising in HV design, installation and maintenance up to 132kV, is seeking an HV Design Engineer to join its team on a permanent basis.

Based in East Anglia with a hybrid working arrangement, you will produce 33kV–132kV designs, act as the technical authority, liaise with project teams and clients, and ensure compliance with UK ICP/DNO/IDNO requirements and CDM regulations.

Qualifications

• HV design experience producing designs at 33kV–132kV for contestable connections or private networks.
• Degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering with recognised industry qualifications.
• Strong knowledge of CDM Regulations and UK ICP/DNO/IDNO frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Produce electrical high voltage designs up to 132kV for infrastructure and connection projects.
• Act as the technical authority for HV projects and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Liaise with project teams and external stakeholders to deliver design solutions.
• Ensure designs meet client requirements and industry standards.

NERS-accredited organisation that specialises in HV design, installation and maintenance work up to 132kV requires an HV Design Engineer to join its team on a permanent basis.

The person:

• Experienced HV Design Engineer with a track record of producing designs at 33kV - 132kV for contestable connections, power distribution / DNO projects or private networks
• Strong understanding of the UK ICP, DNO and IDNO industry
• Degree, HNC (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD
• Knowledge of CDM Regulations
• Experience in control and protection design and switchgear specification (desirable)
