Job summary

TeacherActive is working with an Outstanding secondary school in the Tunbridge Wells area, and is seeking a Humanities Teacher for a full-time, short-term assignment with an immediate start.

The successful candidate will deliver engaging Humanities lessons, maintain high standards of classroom behaviour, and support students to make strong progress, with guidance from a dedicated consultant team and market-leading pay.

Qualifications

• QTS with a relevant Humanities specialism (ECTs are welcome to apply)
• Experience teaching Humanities within a UK secondary school
• Strong subject knowledge and curriculum understanding
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
• The ability to deliver engaging and inclusive lessons
• Strong communication and organisational skills

The school is looking to appoint a Humanities Teacher on a full-time, short-term basis with an immediate start. The successful Humanities Teacher will deliver engaging Humanities lessons, maintain high standards of classroom behaviour and support students to make strong progress throughout their learning.

The successful Humanities Teacher will have:

• QTS with a relevant Humanities specialism (ECTs are welcome to apply)
• Experience teaching Humanities within a UK secondary school
• Strong subject knowledge and curriculum understanding
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
• The ability to deliver engaging and inclusive lessons
• Strong communication and organisational skills
