Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting experienced qualified Humanities teachers as well as Early Career Teachers to work on a temporary day to day, long-term or permanent basis across Taunton. We offer guidance to help you find positions that fit your experience and availability.

Our staff are paid on a PAYE basis with 24/7 consultant support, flexible working, and access to CPD courses and our progression program. Referrals are rewarded with up to £100 terms apply.

Qualifications

• QTS with Humanities specialism (ECT's are welcome to apply)
• Experience teaching Humanities up to Key Stage 4 / KS4

Responsibilities

• Teach Humanities in secondary schools across temporary day-to-day, long-term or permanent placements.
• Adapt lessons to KS4, deliver engaging lessons and manage classrooms.
• Collaborate with schools and the TeacherActive team to secure suitable assignments.
