Cover People are working with a well-established secondary school in Trafford to recruit a Teacher of Humanities for September 2026. This role welcomes ECTs and experienced teachers and offers an engaging, knowledge-rich education within an inclusive school.

You will teach History, Geography and Religious Education across Key Stages 3 and 4, deliver engaging lessons, assess progress, and contribute to curriculum development and enrichment activities.

Qualifications

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or due to achieve QTS by September 2026.
  • Degree in History, Geography, Religious Education or a related Humanities subject.
  • Genuine passion for Humanities education and inspiring young people.
  • Excellent classroom management, communication and organisational skills.
  • High expectations of student achievement, behaviour and personal development.
  • Reflective practitioner committed to continuous professional development.

Responsibilities

Salary: £150–£200 per day DOE
