Job summary

Exclusive Education are looking to appoint a Humanities teacher to work in a Secondary School in St Helens. The role starts ASAP and is ongoing, with responsibilities to deliver engaging lessons for KS3/KS4 and manage behaviour effectively within school policies.

The ideal candidate may be an ECT or a Qualified Teacher, with strong behaviour strategies and prior experience in Humanities, Geography, History or RE. DBS clearance and two references are required to secure the post.

Qualifications

• Hold a relevant teaching qualification with QTS, such as a PGCE, B.Ed or a BA Hons.
• Eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident.
• Previous experience of working with children.
• Previous Humanities, Geography, History and RE teaching experience.
• Two references working with children covering the last 2 years.
• Hold a current DBS that is registered with the update service or be willing to apply for a new one.

Responsibilities

• Take over the class and demonstrate outstanding teaching to Key Stage 3 and 4 classrooms.
• Maintain strong behaviour management and adherence to school policies.
• Work within the school team to support student learning and progression.

Salary/ Rate: 170 - 240 per day depending on experience

Exclusive Education are looking to appoint a Humanities to work in a Secondary School in St Helens. The role will start ASAP and will be ongoing . They are looking for a Humanities to take over the class and demonstrate outstanding teaching to Key Stage 3 and 4 classrooms.

The School are looking at taking on either an ECT or a Qualified Teacher for this role as long as the ideal candidate is able to implement strong behaviour management strategies whilst adhering to school policies. Previous teaching experience is desirable.
