Are you an experienced and Qualified Teacher looking for a new challenge?

U-Educate are currently recruiting for Humanities Teachers for schools in Portsmouth. We have day-to-day and short/long term roles available with immediate start dates.

Job Description
  • Planning, marking and assessing lessons
  • Teach lessons based on Humanities Curriculums.
  • Prepare and develop lesson plans and curriculums and teaching materials
  • Deliver helpful feedback to students about progress
  • Manage classroom behaviour
  • Engage, motivate and encourage students to complete work set
  • Make sure all students are focused and on track to meet their lesson objectives
  • Attending to student’s physical, mental and emotional needs
Requirements
  • Previous experience within an educational setting supporting students with SEN
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching Philosophy, Geography and RE to KS3 pupils.
  • Ability to pass an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check to work with children
  • Up to date Safeguarding Training (You can undertake a free course with U-educate if you have not got a safeguarding certificate dated within the last 12 months)
