Humanities Teacher – Foster Curiosity and Critical Thinking in Folkestone

Teaching Personnel, the UK’s leading education recruitment agency, is seeking a dynamic and versatile Humanities Teacher to join a welcoming and ambitious secondary school in Folkestone. This is an excellent opportunity to teach a combination of subjects across the humanities faculty, such as History, Geography, and Religious Education, depending on your specialism and the school’s needs.

The Role:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 opportunities may be available)

  • Teach one or more Humanities subjects (flexibility around specialism)

  • Contribute to curriculum planning, student assessment, and enrichment opportunities

  • Support students in developing analytical thinking, empathy, and a global perspective

What We’re Looking For:

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent

  • A degree in a Humanities-related subject (History, Geography, RE, etc.)

  • Strong classroom management and communication skills

  • Passion for promoting humanities education and a reflective teaching approach

  • ECTs and experienced teachers are welcome to apply
