A leading educational institution in Ashford, Kent is searching for an enthusiastic Humanities Teacher. This temporary role involves teaching History, Geography, and Citizenship to secondary students. The ideal candidate will have a strong educational background, classroom management skills, and a passion for fostering a supportive learning environment.
Teaching Personnel is pleased to support a well-regarded secondary school in Ashford, Kent in their search for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Humanities Teacher. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 in subjects such as History, Geography, and Citizenship.
You will deliver engaging lessons across the Humanities curriculum, helping students develop critical thinking, understanding of the world, and skills in analysis and communication.
Plan and deliver high-quality Humanities lessons covering History, Geography, and Citizenship.
Encourage curiosity and a broad understanding of social, political, and environmental issues.
Assess and monitor student progress in line with school and exam board standards.
Contribute to curriculum development and extracurricular activities.
Foster an inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners.
Fully Qualified Teacher (FQT) with UK QTS is essential.
Degree in Humanities, History, Geography, or a related subject.
Experience teaching Humanities subjects at secondary level.
Strong classroom management and interpersonal skills.
A DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply through Teaching Personnel).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
