Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment are seeking a Humanities Teacher for a Bolton secondary school, starting after October half term. This full-time, long-term role runs through to Easter 2027, with daily rates dependent on experience.

You will deliver Humanities lessons across KS3/KS4, potentially History, Geography or RE, and work to raise student attainment while maintaining strong classroom standards. Supportive team and CPD access are provided.

Qualifications

• Holds QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification.
• Has experience teaching Humanities within a secondary school.
• Has strong subject knowledge in History, Geography, RE or another relevant Humanities discipline.
• Has excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Can deliver engaging lessons to students of varying abilities.
• Is passionate about their subject and committed to improving student outcomes.
• ECTs are welcome to apply, as well as experienced teachers.

Humanities Teacher - Bolton

Start Date: After October Half Term

Duration: October Half Term - Easter 2027

Contract: Full-time, long-term agency position

Salary: £180-£240 per day, dependent on experience

Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of a secondary school in Bolton who are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Humanities Teacher to join their team after the October half term. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate Humanities specialist looking for a full-time, long-term position through to Easter 2027, within a supportive and well-established secondary school.

The Role

The successful candidate will join a dedicated Humanities department and deliver engaging lessons across the secondary age range. You will be responsible for:
