Job Description

1. Planning, marking, and assessing lessons
2. Teaching lessons based on Humanities Curriculums
3. Preparing and developing lesson plans, curriculums, and teaching materials
4. Providing helpful feedback to students about their progress
5. Managing classroom behaviour
6. Engaging, motivating, and encouraging students to complete assigned work
7. Ensuring all students are focused and on track to meet their lesson objectives
8. Attending to students' physical, mental, and emotional needs

Requirements

• Previous experience supporting students with SEN in an educational setting
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching Philosophy, Geography, and RE to KS3 pupils
• Ability to pass an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check to work with children
• Up-to-date Safeguarding Training (a free course can be undertaken with U-educate if your certificate is within the last 12 months)
