Humanities Graduate Teaching Assistant – Secondary School – September 2025 Start – £89.38 to £100 per day – Bramhall, Stockport
Are you a recent Humanities graduate (History, Geography, RE, Sociology, Politics, or similar) eager to explore a career in education? Would you like to gain valuable, hands-on experience working in a secondary school before pursuing teacher training or further study?
A highly regarded secondary school in Bramhall, Stockport is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Humanities Graduate Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2025. This is a full-time role for the full academic year, offering insight into classroom life and a chance to support pupils’ academic development in Humanities subjects.
Supporting teaching and learning across KS3 and KS4 Humanities lessons
Working 1:1 or in small groups to support pupils who need help understanding key concepts
Assisting with lesson preparation, classroom activities, and behaviour management
Encouraging student engagement with Humanities subjects through academic and pastoral support
Supporting students with SEND or SEMH needs in and out of the classroom where appropriate
Location: Bramhall, Stockport
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Full academic year, full-time
Ideal for: Graduates in History, Geography, RE, Politics, Sociology, Criminology, or other Humanities subjects
