I am working with one of my clients as they look to recruit a Human Resources People Partner to join them on a permanent basis.

The Human Resources People Partner will join a team of 5, reporting to the HRD and working alongside another HR People Partner, ideal for someone with extensive experience in Employee Relations.

The Role

As a Human Resources People Partner, you will manage ER cases and HR projects across the company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all levels of ER cases from end to end, including complex and low-level cases.
  • Manage employee documentation in line with GDPR, ensuring all correspondence and notes are accurate and up to date.
  • Provide HR support and guidance across the business, in accordance with employment law policies, including redundancy procedures and supporting consultations.
  • Support the team on broader ER issues.
  • Maintain trackers of ER case management using Microsoft Excel, ensuring they are up to date and in line with company policies.
  • Support the HRD in various projects and initiatives.
  • Represent HR on the EDI advisory group, collaborating with the EDI lead on initiatives.
  • Develop and lead the company's onboarding strategy and induction process.
  • Cover for the HRD and wider team during absences as required.
  • Lead the staff survey process, including data collation and analysis.
  • Manage the appraisal process, including communication, completion, reviewing ER issues, logging training needs, and follow-up.
About You
  • Extensive experience managing ER cases and communicating with senior management.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • CIPD qualification or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Attention to detail and influencing skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and maintain accuracy.
  • Tactful, diplomatic, discreet, and able to handle confidential information.
  • Flexible, reliable, and adaptable to change.
