Job summary

Deutsche Bank AG in Birmingham is seeking an HR Business Advisor to partner with a defined client group within the UK & Ireland Business Advisory Centre, delivering expert HR guidance on people matters and supporting organisational change.

You will apply global HR processes such as compensation and talent management, collaborate with HR colleagues and stakeholders to maintain high service standards, and continuously seek improvements.

Qualifications

• Strong HR advisory experience, ideally within complex, matrix organizations.
• Proven ability to manage change, performance management, employee relations, and restructuring and to navigate complex employment matters.
• Good knowledge of UK Employment legislation in relation to General HR Advisory.
• Effective relationship-building skills and collaboration across business and HR teams.
• Results-oriented, with the ability to prioritise and manage high volumes in a fast-paced environment whilst maintain procedures and compliance.
• Experience mentoring and developing junior HR professionals.
• Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimise workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs

• Support HR initiatives, including organisational transformation, restructuring, and optimisation.

• Support business stakeholders through compensation processes, ensuring fairness and compliance.

The HR Business Advisor serves as a trusted partner within the UK & Ireland Business Advisory Centre, providing expert HR guidance to an assigned client group. The role focuses on delivering effective solutions for people matters, supporting organisational change, and ensuring the consistent application of global HR processes such as compensation and talent management. Collaboration with HR colleagues and stakeholders is essential to maintain high service standards and drive continuous improvement.
