Job Title: HR Coordinator
Our client is currently recruiting for the position of HR Coordinator, based in Aberdeen. This is a temporary-permanent role located in the South of Aberdeen.
Responsibilities:
- Establish good relationships with managers and employees to ensure the delivery of a professional, confidential, and value-added HR service.
- Verify and process data in the HRIS and other business systems; coordinate employee lifecycle administration, including onboarding, absence management, system notifications and approvals, offboarding, and maintaining HR records with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Coordinate and assist with onshore recruitment activities such as screening applications, arranging interviews, preparing offers, and managing routine documentation and engagement of new employees.
- Support the Lead HR Business Partner with the Training/Learning Management System (LMS) project by providing accurate data to the vendor.
- Manage onshore and offshore mandatory training bookings, upload course certifications, and maintain training records and matrices.
- Arrange training accommodations where applicable.
- Perform regular audits on training matrices.
- Support the coordination of in-house training programs.
- Arrange and request onshore OEUK Medicals and Occupational Health Referrals through external providers, maintaining certification records.
- Support activities related to the annual HR cycle, including performance management, and compensation and benefits.
- Administer employee benefit schemes in collaboration with benefits brokers, ensuring employee details are current in the portal.
- Assist with onshore payroll processes to meet deadlines.
- Prepare and issue employee communications and letters.
- Respond to general HR queries and provide information on company policies, procedures, benefits, schemes, and systems to onshore employees.
- Participate in HR projects and execute assigned activities.
- Provide HR assistance to the emergency response organization, including support and participation in the HR On-call duty team.
Specific Requirements:
- Demonstrable experience as an HR Coordinator or Administrator in a similar environment.
- Experience in coordinating offshore training is essential.
- Proficiency in all MS Office packages.
- HNC/HND in Human Resources, Business, or equivalent; working towards CIPD qualification is desirable.
