Job summary

Elevation Recruitment Group is partnering with a well-established tech business in Sheffield to recruit an HR Business Partner on a 12-month fixed-term contract. The role is full-time with hybrid working (2 days in the office). You will partner with senior leaders, manage complex ER matters, and support strategic HR initiatives.

The ideal candidate is CIPD qualified or working towards it, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is commutable to Sheffield.

As a HR Business Partner your role will include:

• Partner closely with senior leaders, building trusted relationships and providing pragmatic HR advice and support across a range of people-related challenges.
• Lead on complex employee relations matters, including disciplinaries, grievances and performance management, ensuring cases are handled fairly, consistently and in line with employment legislation.
• Coach and challenge leaders to build their confidence and capability, providing constructive guidance and helping to create strong, high-performing team cultures.
• Work closely with the Head of HR on strategic people projects, including M&A due diligence, integration planning and wider organisational change initiatives.

The ideal candidate will:

• Be a confident HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
• Have strong experience managing complex ER cases independently, including disciplinaries, grievances and performance matters.
• Be confident influencing and constructively challenging managers, with the ability to provide clear, pragmatic advice and push back when needed.
• Be CIPD qualified or actively working towards a CIPD qualification.
• Be based within a commutable distance of Sheffield, ideally already living locally within the Yorkshire area.
