Role Overview

MedPro is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented HR Business Partner to join our dynamic London team and play a pivotal role in shaping our growing international business. This exciting opportunity blends operational HR responsibilities with strategic partnership, supporting both employees and managers across a broad spectrum of HR functions. Key Responsibilities

Business Partnering

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to managers, providing tailored HR guidance aligned with business objectives.
  • Support strategic workforce planning, employee engagement initiatives, and talent management programs.
  • Contribute to change management efforts and help build management capability across teams.
  • Partner with business leaders to identify HR solutions that support team performance and development.

Compensation & Annual Review Process

  • Support the annual compensation and performance review cycles, working closely with HR and Finance teams.
  • Prepare and maintain tools, templates, and trackers to ensure accurate data collection and reporting.
  • Use advanced Excel skills for data validation, analysis, modelling, and scenario planning.
  • Assist in the preparation of presentations and materials that convert HR data into compelling business narratives for leadership.
  • Ensure confidentiality and consistency throughout the compensation review process.

Employee Relations

  • Provide expert, pragmatic advice on employee relations matters, ensuring alignment with employment legislation and internal policies.
  • Lead on disciplinary and grievance processes from initial investigation through to resolution.
  • Coach and support managers in managing performance issues and resolving workplace conflicts constructively.

HR Operations & Administration

  • Oversee the end-to-end employee lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding, induction, offboarding, and employee changes.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the HR Information System (HRIS), ensuring data integrity and compliance.
  • Prepare, collate, and organise data for internal audits and regulatory requirements as needed.
  • Ensure ongoing adherence to HR policies and procedures, updating them to reflect legislative changes and company values.
  • Act as payroll liaison, ensuring accurate and timely submission of payroll data for UK, France, and Ireland.

Learning & Development

  • Support the delivery and tracking of learning and development initiatives that align with organisational goals.
  • Assist in talent reviews, succession planning, and career development conversations.
  • Collaborate with managers to identify skill gaps and training needs.

Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding

  • Manage and support recruitment campaigns, from sourcing through to offer stage.
  • Work with the Head of HR to enhance the employer brand in collaboration with the Marketing team, supporting the promotion of MedPro’s employee value proposition.
  • Ensure a smooth and engaging onboarding and induction experience for all new employees.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Knowledge, skills and experience:

  • Proven experience in an HR Generalist, Advisor, or Business Partner role (typically 6+ years).
  • Experience of working in the insurance sector would be desirable although not essential
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to produce high quality documentation and correspondence
  • Proficiency in MS Office with extensive experience in Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, demonstrating advanced Excel skills
  • Proven experience managing and addressing sensitive employee relations matters
  • Skilled in administering and optimising HRIS and ATS systems to support HR operations
  • Excellent time management & organising skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise tasks
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to ensuring accuracy in all tasks
  • Self-motivated and resourceful, able to work independently whilst contributing effectively
  • Highly adaptable and solutions orientated, thriving in fast-paced, agile environments
  • Maintains the highest standards of confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive information
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships both internally and externally, and to communicate with emotional intelligence
