Montresor Legal in London is seeking an HR Assistant to support a small, busy HR team. This junior, administration-focused role offers the chance to own day-to-day HR tasks, including holiday records, payroll administration, recruitment coordination, interview scheduling, trainee and SRA admin, training bookings and new joiner documentation.
The role also requires Reception cover from 5pm to 6pm daily and occasional Post Room duties.
We are working with a well-established London law firm that is looking to recruit an HR Assistant to join its small and busy HR team.
This is a junior, administration-focused role and would suit someone who is organised, reliable, discreet and happy to take ownership of the day-to-day tasks that keep an HR function running smoothly.
You will support the Head of HR and HR Officer across a broad range of administrative responsibilities, including holiday records, payroll administration, recruitment coordination, interview scheduling, trainee and SRA administration, training bookings and new joiner documentation.
The role will also include Reception cover from 5pm to 6pm each day, together with occasional Reception and Post Room cover when required.
Previous HR experience would be useful, but it is not essential. More important is someone who is professional, mature, confident communicating with people at all levels and comfortable working in a role where attention to detail and discretion are essential.
The firm is looking for someone who is happy to learn, take instruction and become a dependable part of a small team.
There is also genuine potential for the role to develop over time. As the team evolves, there may be scope for the successful candidate to take on greater HR responsibility and potentially progress into an HR Officer-level position.
The role is fully office based in Central London, working 10am to 6pm.
