Job summary

NES Fircroft is supporting a leading organisation in Heathrow to recruit an HR Advisor on a 12-month fixed-term contract to provide maternity cover. The role focuses on Employee Relations and Industrial Relations within a fast-paced operational environment.

You will lead Employee Relations cases and support Industrial Relations activities, advising managers and employees while assisting recruitment, onboarding and the wider employee lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years' experience in an HR Advisory role.
• Strong hands-on Employee Relations experience.
• Experience in infrastructure, construction, heavy industry or similar operational environment.
• Exposure to Industrial Relations or unionised environments.
• CIPD Level 5 qualification or above.
• Experience using Workday or similar HR systems.
• Ability to manage sensitive and complex HR matters with professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Employee Relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance and performance matters.
• Support Industrial Relations activities, including audits and compliance with working rule agreements.
• Provide expert HR advice and guidance to managers and employees.
• Support recruitment, onboarding and the wider employee lifecycle.
• Maintain accurate HR reporting, including headcount, absence and payroll information.
• Ensure HR systems, including Workday, are kept accurate and up to date.
• Promote a positive, compliant and high-performing working environment.

Are you an experienced HR Advisor with strong Employee Relations experience, looking for your next opportunity within a fast-paced operational environment? NES Fircroft is supporting a leading organisation in their search for an HR Advisor to join their team in Heathrow on a 12-month fixed-term contract to provide maternity cover.

This role offers the opportunity to play a key part in supporting operational HR activities, with a particular focus on Employee Relations and Industrial Relations. You’ll work closely with managers and employees, providing practical HR advice while supporting a range of workforce and people-related matters.

In this HR Advisor role, your key responsibilities will involve:

• Supporting Industrial Relations activities, including supply chain audits and compliance with industry working rule agreements
• Providing expert HR advice and guidance to managers and employees
• Supporting recruitment, onboarding and the wider employee lifecycle

• Ensuring HR systems, including Workday, are kept accurate and up to date

To be successful in this position, you will need:
