Our client, a respected associate of the UK Ministry of Defence, has partnered with Guidant Global to hire a Human Factors Engineer. This role is crucial for integrating advanced technology seamlessly and ensuring weapon systems are effective, user-friendly, and safe. The Human Factors team assesses user capability throughout the product development cycle, from conceptual design to final delivery.
As a skilled Human Factors Engineer, you'll join a team of experienced Human Factors Engineers acknowledged by the UK MOD for implementing Human Factors Integration. Work with military experts to create a system from ideation to delivery across Land, Air and Sea domains. With ongoing projects in Battlefield, Surface Attack, Deep Strike & Air Defence domains, you will gain valuable experience. As a partner in FCAS AP, our client is at the heart of providing the effects element of the Future Combat Air System (FCAS).

What you'll get to do as a Human Factors Engineer:
As a Human Factors Engineer, you will have a unique opportunity to influence the development of cutting-edge technologies. You will be responsible for conducting Human Factors Integration throughout the entire development lifecycle, ensuring that the human-machine relationship is optimised. Your duties will include:
Additionally, you will be responsible for analysing physical ergonomics, equipment, and their integration into workspaces. The successful candidate will possess exceptional skills in Human Centred Design and be able to provide progressive assurance to the customer as per Def Stan 00-251.
