Job summary

Liquidline is seeking a Hub Operative based at our Belfast hub to ensure efficient stock handling, loading/unloading, and daily upkeep. You will perform PDIs, identify faults, and collaborate with Customer Service and Purchasing to maintain smooth operations.

The role requires at least 6 months in a warehouse/workshop, plus good Outlook skills, strong communication, and IT proficiency. Forklift experience is a plus as is stock level management.

Qualifications

• Experience with forklift operations is advantageous.
• Minimum 6 months experience in a warehouse or workshop.
• Good working knowledge of Outlook applications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• IT proficient and comfortable using stock-check data systems.
• Experience managing stock levels and stock checks.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload goods, check in deliveries against orders, and store stock efficiently.
• Keep the warehouse tidy through daily cleaning routines.
• Complete builds and PDIs of machines within provided timeframes.
• Identify faults on Liquidline machines and perform basic repairs where possible.
• Regularly liaise with internal departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Monitor stock levels and complete stock checks to anticipate parts needs.
• Update set reorder points as demand changes.

What You Will Need In The Role of Hub Operative

• Qualification and Experience of Forklift Operations (This would be an advantage to your application).
• A minimum of 6 months experience working within a Warehouse or Workshop environment.
• Good working knowledge of Outlook Applications, such as Outlook.
• Good communication skills, written and verbal.
• IT proficient.
• Previous experience of managing stock levels, and using a system to store stock check data.

The Responsibilities of the Hub Operative

As a Hub Operative, based at our Belfast Hub - you'll have a range of responsibilities to ensure customer receive Liquidline's WOW customer service. Your primary focus will be general upkeeping, stock control and PDI work.

• Loading and unloading of goods, checking in goods and storing them efficiently, checking deliveries against purchase orders.
• Keeping the warehouse tidy and organised through daily cleaning routines.
• To complete builds, and PDI's of machines in the timeframes provided by other departments in the organisation.
• To identify faults on Liquidline Machines, providing basic repairs where possible on a range of equipment.
• To liaise regularly with internal departments, such as Customer Service and Purchasing in a positive and collaborative manner.
• To ensure stock levels are monitored, and stock checks are being completed regularly to ensure forecasting for parts to eliminate risk of items being out of stock.
• To manage and update set re order points within the system as demands for parts changes with industry trends.
• To ensure effective ordering and deliveries on correct parts.
• To follow health and safety guidelines, and ensure this is kept on top of.
