Job summary

Evri is seeking a skilled Hub Engineer to maintain and optimise electrical and mechanical equipment across the hub. You will support automated sortation and logistics systems, applying strong fault-finding and safety-first mindset to keep operations running smoothly.

In this role you will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose breakdowns quickly, and ensure compliance with relevant safety legislation and company policies. You will document work in CMMS and coordinate with contractors as needed.

Qualifications

• Engineering qualification or proven maintenance experience.
• PLC/SCADA knowledge with Siemens S7 and related systems.
• Strong fault-finding across hydraulics, pneumatics, motors and LV systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain hub machinery and equipment with planned preventive maintenance and rapid repairs.
• Minimise downtime by diagnosing and resolving breakdowns efficiently.
• Ensure safety compliance with Health & Safety legislation and LOTO procedures.
• Support hub performance by meeting engineering KPIs and suggesting improvements.
• Record maintenance activity in CMMS and manage on-site stock and permits.
