Job summary

Evri Group is seeking a skilled Hub Engineer to maintain electrical and mechanical equipment across the Coventry hub. You will perform preventative maintenance and rapid repairs to ensure optimal performance of automated sortation and logistics systems.

The role requires strong knowledge of electrical and control systems, experience with PLCs (Siemens S7), SCADA, and fault-finding across hydraulics and low-voltage systems. Join a safety-focused team delivering reliable operations.

Qualifications

• Engineering qualification or proven experience in maintenance
• Experience with electrical, mechanical and control systems in hub environments
• Knowledge of PLCs (Siemens S7), SCADA and industrial networks would be advantageous
• Strong safety mindset and ability to work independently and in shift teams

Responsibilities

• Maintain hub machinery and equipment to high standards, preventive maintenance and rapid repairs
• Diagnose and resolve breakdowns to minimise downtime
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation and safe systems of work (LOTO)
• Meet engineering KPIs and contribute to continuous improvement
• Record maintenance activity through CMMS and keep service records up to date
• Liaise with contractors, issue permits and supervise on-site works
• Monitor critical spares and stock levels
• Support asset reliability for conveyors, sortation, generators and safety systems
