Job summary

White Woods Primary Academy Trust is seeking a Hub Facilities Officer to oversee facilities management across the hub of schools, ensuring safe, well-maintained environments and high standards. You will coordinate caretaking, cleaning staff, and work with contractors to maintain statutory compliance and safety records.

You will build strong relationships with Headteachers, school teams and external partners, prioritise tasks, and drive continuous improvement in facilities services to support

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of Health & Safety and facilities management, including asbestos, legionella, manual handling and working at height.

Responsibilities

• oversee facilities management across the hub, coordinating caretaking and cleaning staff
• ensure statutory compliance, safety requirements, testing and inspections are completed and recorded
• monitor contractor performance and ensure work is safe and to standard
• coordinate planned and reactive maintenance and work with contractors
• lead, coordinate, challenge and support Headteachers and school teams
• continually look for ways to improve the service provided to schools
