Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting an HLTA for a primary school in Bristol (BS7). The role is full-time, five days a week, temp-to-perm, and involves supporting Year 1 and Year 2 pupils with learning and classroom activities.

The successful candidate will hold an HLTA qualification or equivalent, have experience in a Primary School setting and strong communication/classroom management skills. PAYE payroll applies, with market-leading pay rates and ongoing CPD support.

Are you confident supporting classroom learning and working alongside the class teacher to help pupils achieve their full potential?

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a Primary School based in Bristol, BS7, who are looking to appoint a dedicated HLTA. The school is looking for an enthusiastic and reliable individual who can become a valued part of the school community and provide consistent support to pupils.

The school is looking to take on an HLTA on a full-time, 5-day-per-week, temp-to-perm basis. The successful HLTA will work across Year 1 and Year 2, supporting pupils with their learning, assisting with classroom activities and working closely with teaching staff to provide effective classroom support.

The successful HLTA will have:

• A relevant HLTA qualification or equivalent
• Experience working within a Primary School setting
• Experience supporting pupils across Key Stage 1 / KS1
• Confidence supporting learning within Year 1 and Year 2
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• A positive, adaptable and enthusiastic approach
