Job summary

A leading construction firm is seeking a Health, Safety and Wellbeing (HSW) Advisor to support their Birmingham project. This role involves driving health and safety performance, conducting site inspections, and ensuring compliance with UK regulations. The ideal candidate will have a relevant H&S qualification and demonstrated ability to influence a positive safety culture. Qualifications

• Candidates with a certificate/qualification currently working towards a qualifying level are also considered.
• Demonstrates commitment to continual learning to refine expertise.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of UK HSW Strategy.
• Investigate accidents, incidents and near-miss events.
• Conduct regular site inspections.

Skills

Ability to influence and promote a positive HSW culture

Competence in incident investigation

Strong understanding of the UK Health and Safety Regulatory Framework

Ability to prepare formal written reports on HSW topics

Ability to engage and converse at all levels

Education

Relevant H&S Diploma, NVQ or Degree (or equivalent level 6 qualification)
