Job summary

Kier Places is seeking a Health, Safety and Wellbeing Advisor to support Heathrow, Gosport and other contracts from conception to delivery under the HSW Team. You will ensure teams adhere to the Integrated Management System and promote best practice in safety and risk management.

The role requires an IOSH Level 5+ Health & Safety qualification, Tech IOSH membership, ISO 45001 knowledge, strong communication skills, and a valid driving licence for occasional nights away.

Qualifications

• This role requires IOSH Level 5+ Health & Safety qualification and professional body membership (Tech IOSH).
• Experience in construction or facilities management is preferred.
• Knowledge of ISO 45001 and risk management practices is essential.

Responsibilities

• Advising on IMS procedures and promoting compliance across sites.
• Carrying out inspections and advisory visits to drive safety standards.
• Leading investigations into accidents and near misses with detailed reporting.
• Delivering internal training on HSW systems and risk management.
• Participating in pre-contract and pre-start meetings to set HSW requirements.
