Job summary

JLL Workplace Management UK&I is seeking an Health and Safety Manager to lead HSSE strategy across the Project Services Division. The role focuses on embedding a proactive safety culture, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement across delivery activities.

The successful candidate will align standards with the EMEA HSSE function, manage risk in engineering projects, and travel across the UK&I portfolio as required.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety (or Level 6) required.
• NEBOSH National Certificate in Construction Health and Safety.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in a HSSE manager role within construction/engineering.
• Strong knowledge of UK H&S law, CDM Regulations, Building Safety Act 2022.
• Proven ability to lead HSSE professionals and influence senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement the HSSE strategy for Project Services aligned with global standards.
• Lead incident investigations and ensure root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Manage HSSE monitoring, audits, and KPI reporting to leadership and clients.
• Support ISO 45001/14001/9001 compliance across project activities.
• Build relationships with client HSSE teams and regulatory bodies.
