Job summary

VolkerHighways, part of VolkerWessels UK, seeks an HSEQS Coordinator to support data collection, validation and reporting across contracts in the South East & South West. You’ll work with operational teams to ensure data integrity and drive efficiency improvements while supporting the HSEQ & Sustainability function.

The role combines office-based work with occasional site-based support, requiring a proactive, detail-oriented contributor with strong IT skills and a drive for continuous

Qualifications

• Educated to GCSE level (or equivalent), including English and Maths.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify discrepancies and challenge inaccuracies in data.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to deliver high-quality work to strict deadlines.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the confidence to build relationships at all levels.
• Ability to work independently, use initiative and prioritise workload effectively.

Responsibilities

• Collate, validate and input HSEQS and Sustainability data, ensuring accuracy and integrity across company reporting measures.
• Support the timely provision of data in line with reporting deadlines and programme timescales.
• Identify opportunities to improve data collection processes and reporting efficiencies.
• Maintain and update information across key business systems.
• Provide administrative support to the wider HSEQ & Sustainability team.
• Assist contract teams with system queries and data management requirements.
• Produce reports, analyse trends and highlight any issues or anomalies within data sets.
• Undertake ad hoc duties as required to support departmental objectives.
