Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality (HSEQ) Manager

+ Up to 7.5% bonus (O.T.E £55,900) + Benefits (Including 11% matched pension)

We are partnering with Zip Pak, part of the ITW group, a global business with a $16bn turnover, to find a new QHSE Manager for their Whitby site. This is an exciting opportunity to join a renowned international company working with well-known brands.

• Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience leading internal and external audits (customer and supplier).
• Proven success in obtaining and maintaining ISO accreditations.
• Experience implementing and maintaining Quality Management Systems.
• Liaise with Production Managers and Shift Leaders to ensure adherence to Quality and HSE procedures.
• Promote a safety culture and awareness among teams and individuals.
• Manage Near Miss/Safety Catch programs effectively.
• Conduct and update Risk Assessments in collaboration with departmental managers and staff.
• Design and deliver H&S training for operators and staff at all levels.
• Chair regular Quality and H&S meetings.
• Maintain up-to-date Quality procedures and documentation.
• Support complaint investigations and liaise with teams regarding customer quality questionnaires.
• Create and update product specifications in line with Change Management procedures.
• Ensure ISO 9001 and 14001 procedures are current and compliant.
• Arrange and deliver QHSE training as needed.
• Perform internal and supplier audits.
• Coordinate with site engineers and production management to keep PPM procedures current.
• Liaise with accreditation bodies to maintain certifications.
• Review and implement new HS&E and ISO procedures and legislation.
• Manage PPE requirements.
• Support team management through coaching, mentoring, and proactive communication.
• Supervise team members and manage workload effectively.
