Job summary
Safetykleen in Dinnington is seeking a proactive HSEQ Officer to support the development, implementation and continual improvement of our Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Management Systems across multiple sites. You will promote a positive safety culture and work closely with operational teams and senior leadership.
You will lead inspections and audits, investigate incidents, assist with risk assessments, and ensure compliance with HASAWA, COSHH, PUWER, LOLER and Fire Safety
Qualifications
- Experience with ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 management systems.
- NEBOSH General Certificate required.
- Strong knowledge of UK health and safety legislation.
- Experience conducting investigations and risk assessments.
- Ability to influence and engage colleagues at all levels.
- Excellent report writing and documentation skills.
Responsibilities
- Health & safety leadership across operations.
- Support implementation of ISO 9001/14001/45001 across 19 branches.
- Carry out inspections, internal audits and support external audits.
- Investigate incidents and identify root causes with corrective actions.
- Support risk assessments and safe systems of work.
- Ensure compliance with HASAWA, COSHH, PUWER, LOLER and Fire Safety legislation.
- Assist with fire safety, evacuations and business continuity planning.
- Maintain accurate safety documentation and drive improvement.
