Job summary

Bennett & Game Recruitment Ltd. is seeking a Health & Safety Officer / Coordinator in Ellesmere, Shropshire. You will take responsibility for HSEQ processes across the business and help drive continuous improvement within our growing manufacturing operation.

The ideal candidate holds a NEBOSH or IOSH qualification, has manufacturing HSE experience, and knowledge of ISO 9001 auditing. You will develop systems, ensure regulatory compliance, conduct audits and promote high standards of health,

Qualifications

NEBOSH or IOSH qualification is essential.
Experience in a manufacturing environment with HSE/HSEQ responsibilities.
Knowledge of ISO 9001 and auditing is desirable.
Strong understanding of Health & Safety legislation and procedures.
Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.

Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day HSEQ processes and procedures across the business.
Maintain and develop Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality systems.
Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation and company standards.
Conduct audits, inspections and investigations as required.
Support ISO 9001 compliance and auditing activities.
Identify opportunities to improve HSEQ processes and implement corrective actions.
Promote high standards of Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental compliance.
Take ownership of the HSEQ function and support business growth.
