Job summary

Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD is seeking an experienced Health & Safety Officer / Coordinator in Ellesmere to oversee HSEQ across the business. You will lead day-to-day HSEQ activities, develop systems, and ensure compliance with relevant legislation while driving continual improvement.

The role suits an experienced HSE/Quality professional looking to advance into an HSEQ management position, with a strong emphasis on audits and QMS development.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH or IOSH qualification required.
• HSEQ experience in manufacturing.
• ISO 9001 knowledge and auditing desirable.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Take day-to-day responsibility for HSEQ processes and procedures.
• Maintain and develop Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality systems.
• Ensure compliance with HSE legislation and company standards.
• Carry out audits, inspections and investigations as required.
• Support ISO 9001 compliance and auditing activities.
• Identify opportunities to improve HSEQ processes and procedures.
• Promote high standards of Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental compliance.
