Job summary

CTI is seeking an experienced HSEQ Lead for the UK to guide health, safety, environmental care and quality practices across branches, warehouses and project sites. You will own the HSEQ framework, drive compliant operations and partner with US leadership to align standards while respecting local UK regulations.

You will spend time on-site, develop reporting dashboards, and coach leaders to embed a culture of proactive risk management and accountability across CTI’s UK operations.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent is required.
• Strong knowledge of UK health and safety legislation and practical application.
• Experience leading practical HSEQ in multi-site operations and project sites.
• Ability to coordinate across UK/Europe with US leadership and specialists.
• Proven incident investigation, root cause analysis, and corrective action planning.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain HSEQ policies reflecting UK and European requirements.
• Serve as HSEQ escalation point for complex or high-risk matters.
• Ensure UK legal compliance including Health and Safety at Work Act, CDM, PUWER and LOLER.
• Support European expansion with framework guidance and local coordination.
• Conduct site walks, inspections, and engagement with employees and subcontractors.
• Lead training and competency programs and maintain records.
• Coordinate building compliance and related inspections and documentation.
• Work with US leadership to align standards and drive continuous improvement.
