EDF Energy Limited is seeking an HSEQ Advisor for Sizewell C to promote a proactive safety culture and provide practical HSEQ guidance across management, supervision and subcontractors.

You will conduct inspections, review risk assessments, support environmental and quality assurance activities, and help deliver continuous HSEQ improvement across the Sizewell C contract in a highly regulated nuclear context.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent.
• IOSH Managing Safely or IOSH Working Safely.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Managers and Professionals CITB Health & Safety Test.
• Experience in HSEQ within construction, infrastructure, highways or comparable environments.
• Experience reviewing risk assessments and safe systems of work.
• Strong communication and workforce engagement skills.

Responsabilités

• Promote a positive safety culture across all activities.
• Provide practical HSEQ guidance to managers, supervisors, employees and subcontractors.
• Undertake regular workplace inspections and safety tours.
• Review risk assessments, method statements and safe systems of work.
• Monitor compliance with project standards and site rules.
• Identify hazards and implement proportionate controls.
• Support environmental compliance and sustainability objectives.
• Support quality management and assurance activities.
• Assist with audits and client inspections.
• Maintain accurate HSEQ records and reporting.
• Engage with Operations and suppliers to embed HSEQ requirements.
• Deliver toolbox talks and HSEQ campaigns.
• Coach supervisors in good HSEQ practice.
• Support continuous improvement of HSEQ management arrangements.
