The McDermott group is seeking an HSEQ Advisor based in Perth, Scotland. You will play a crucial role in maintaining high standards in health, safety, environmental protection, and quality management.

Overview of the Role

• HSEQ Officer
• Holidays: 30 days, with 1 additional day per year of service, up to 5 days. Holiday buy back scheme of an additional 5 days.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain HSEQ standards and accreditations
• Develop and monitor procedures within the Quality Management System
• Coach and advise employees and management on HSEQ matters
• Conduct audits and site inspections to ensure compliance
• Provide training on HSEQ topics
• Manage risk assessments and emergency procedures
• Ensure compliance with legislation and promote a safe working environment
• Maintain records and produce reports on HSEQ performance
• Stay updated with relevant legislation and industry standards
• Lead in-house training and promote a safety culture
• Manage hazardous substances and ensure safe disposal
