Job summary

Circet Ireland & UK is seeking a HSEQ Advisor to join our London team. You will develop and maintain the HSEQ management system and ensure ongoing compliance across projects.

Responsibilities include monitoring performance, reporting to management, supervising subcontractor activities, and driving continuous improvement in health, safety, environment, quality, and taint-free integrity standards.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH general certificate or equivalent.
• Degree qualification or equivalent.
• Extensive experience in civil engineering or telecommunications environments.
• Effective communication and reporting skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages.
• CSCS Card.

Responsibilities

• Develop the HSEQ management system in line with ISO 45001, ISO 9001, ISO 14001.
• Report to management on performance and improvement needs.
• Provide assurance to HSEQ Manager via monitoring and intervention.
• Oversee HSEQ performance with senior management.
• Ensure all worksites comply with legal HSEQT obligations.
• Prepare Construction Stage Plans, Pre-Qualification & Tender documents, Emergency Response Plans.

Responsibilities of HSEQ Advisor:

• Development of the HSEQT Management system, in line with OHSAS 18001 (ISO 45001), ISO 9001,ISO 14001
• Reporting to management on the performance of the management systems and any need for improvement
• To provide assurance to the HSEQT Manager by means of appropriate monitoring and intervention
• Oversee, monitor and evaluate the operation of HSEQT performance, working with senior management
• To ensure that all worksites are fully compliant with legal HSEQT obligations
• Completion of Construction Stage Plans, Pre-Qualification & Tender Documents, Emergency Response Plans etc
• Approval, monitoring and reviewing of all sub-contractor works
• Ensuring records of incidents are maintained and investigated

Knowledge & Skills Requirements:

• NEBOSH general certificate or equivalent
• Degree qualified or equivalent
• Extensive experience within a civil engineering or telecommunications environment
• Effective communication and reporting skills
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office packages
• CSCS Card
