Marks & Spencer is opening a new distribution centre in Lichfield and recruiting an HSE Specialist to lead safety initiatives on site. The role focuses on policy development, risk assessment compliance, and promoting a proactive safety culture across the facility.

You will analyse safety data, drive continuous improvement, and coach teams to uphold high standards in a fast-paced distribution environment. This position is on-site in Lichfield with UK-wide safety commitments.

Qualificações

• NEBOSH General Certificate or working towards it.
• Awareness of ISO18001 and ISO14001 standards.
• Understanding of end-to-end safety processes, ideally in a distribution environment.
• Ability to adapt to changing demands and communicate effectively under pressure.

Responsabilidades

• Support development of new Policies/Standard Operating Procedures to meet risk assessment requirements.
• Deliver the site safety strategy and foster a proactive Health, Safety and Net-Zero culture.
• Create and maintain safety metrics including accidents, near misses, safety conversations and risk assessments.
• Conduct trend analysis and apply continuous improvement tools to drive safety performance.
• Coach colleagues and leaders on site to ensure consistent standards.
