Job summary

Inspire Resourcing Ltd is recruiting a Health & Safety Officer on behalf of a client based in Derbyshire. You will support the H&S Manager and collaborate with the Site Manager and Operations team to drive safety improvements.

The role requires NEBOSH National General Certificate and provides the opportunity to lead site safety meetings while ensuring compliance with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards. A proactive approach and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH National General Certificate is essential.
• IOSH Working Safely is desirable.
• National Compliance and Risk Qualifications are desirable.
• Environmental qualifications are desirable.

Responsibilities

• With the aid of the H&S Manager, ensure all aspects of Health & Safety are adhered to.
• Work closely with the Site Manager and Operations team to achieve site action plans.
• Monitor and report KPIs against targets and advise site team of required actions.
• Liaise with Site Management on the implementation of ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and related systems.
• Lead H&S meetings and support the H&S Manager in all aspects of the role.
