Job summary

Alternative Heat Ltd is seeking a Health, Safety and Environmental Officer (Decarbonisation Projects) to lead HSE across our Birmingham-based sites and remote teams. The role focuses on developing and delivering safety and environmental programs for decarbonisation and maintenance projects, with a strong emphasis on regulatory compliance and continuous improvement.

The successful candidate will conduct site audits, risk assessments, incident investigations, and oversee CDM 2015 compliance,

Qualifications

• Experience in construction, infrastructure, decarbonisation, or renewable energy sectors.
• Strong knowledge of CDM 2015 regulations in the UK and ROI.
• Proven ability to conduct site audits and incident investigations.
• Ability to influence teams and foster proactive safety culture.
