Ensure that the Company is adhering to all relevant Health and Safety legislation supporting ISO 18001.

Responsibilities
  1. Coordinate and assist the Management Team with the Company’s Health and Safety Annual Plan.
  2. Support and train Managers with the implementation of Risk Assessments.
  3. Support and train team members and staff in using relevant FLTs, cranes, and handling equipment to ensure safe working practices.
  4. Coordinate accident investigations, record and graph all accident data, and use this data to promote a no-accident culture.
  5. Monitor and amend the OHS Policy to ensure commitments are undertaken and results communicated to Senior Management for action.
  6. Ensure provision of occupational health & safety data for equipment and products used within the business.
  7. Ensure adequate First-Aid provisions and that accident investigation, recording, and reporting requirements are met.
  8. Develop and practice Emergency Plans and Evacuations.
  9. Provide written and pictorial guidance to communicate company policies and procedures.
  10. Liaise with enforcing authorities to ensure compliance with fire, occupational health, safety, and welfare legislation.

  • Experience and knowledge in Health & Safety, including FLT, Noise, COSHH
  • Knowledge of Safe Lifting & Slinging requirements

Working Hours
  • Monday-Thursday: 07:00-16:00
  • Friday: 07:00-15:00
