Job summary

Saab UK Ltd in Fareham is seeking a senior HSE professional to lead the Health, Safety and Environmental function for the Saab Seaeye robotics unit. You will develop, maintain and improve HSE systems, ensure compliance with legislation and customer requirements, and promote a strong safety culture.

Reporting to the Head of Quality Health, Safety & Environmental, you will coordinate internal audits, deliver training, review risk assessments and support external audits and certifications across

Qualifications

• 5-10 years in manufacturing/engineering environments
• ISO 9001/14001/45001 knowledge and experience
• NEBOSH or equivalent HSE qualification

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and improve HSE management systems, policies, standards and procedures across the organisation.
• Ensure compliance with HSE legislation, regulations, industry standards and customer requirements.
• Lead delivery of HSE strategy, monitor performance, analyse trends, report KPIs and drive improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate training, awareness and development programmes; ensure effective induction/onboarding.
