Job summary

Knauf Insulation is seeking a Health, Safety and Environmental Manager to lead the cultural shift towards higher safety awareness and robust environmental practices across the site in Wales. You will support the Plant Manager and Leadership Team to ensure legal compliance and corporate safety objectives are met through regular audits, inspections and assessments.

The role requires NEBOSH qualification (General Certificate at minimum, Diploma preferred) and proven experience in a manufacturing

Qualifications

• We expect NEBOSH qualification at minimum and evidence of ongoing professional development.
• Experience in health and safety management at a site level in manufacturing.
• Ability to lead and train teams and drive safety culture.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate HSE strategy to improve safety and environmental performance.
• Audit, inspect and assess compliance with applicable safety legislation and company standards.
• Coordinate and deliver internal safety training and information sessions.
• Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions with relevant teams.
• Collaborate with management to ensure legal and corporate safety objectives are met.
