Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL in Whitstable seeks an experienced Health, Safety & Environmental Manager to lead HSE strategy and day‑to‑day operations. You will drive a proactive culture, ensure legal compliance and sustain ISO 45001 / 14001 across the site.

Reporting to the Maintenance and Automation Manager, you will set targets, guide leaders and chair the Health & Safety Committee to embed best practices and continual improvement on site.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent.
• Experience in manufacturing environment desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of a positive HSE culture across the site.
• Ensure compliance with statutory health, safety and environmental legislation.
• Maintain ISO 45001 / ISO 14001 certifications and drive improvements.
• Develop and monitor HSE targets and improvement programmes.
• Provide expert guidance to leaders and stakeholders.
• Chair and lead the Health & Safety Committee and promote best practice.
