Our client is an established and leading independent manufacturer of speciality products for a wide variety of industrial applications. Part of a growing international group, the business is investing in its current production and engineering capabilities and is currently looking to appoint an HSE Manager.

HSE Manager Requirements

• 5–10 Years experience of active engagement with COMAH at Upper Tier Site & Environmental Permitting Regulations
• Health & Safety Qualification NEBOSH Certificate / Diploma required as a minimum.
• Degree qualified in Process safety, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or closely related scientific discipline is preferable

HSE Manager Responsibilities

• Maintaining and updating the COMAH safety report, attendance at all safety studies including but not limited to MATTE assessments, DSEAR assessment, Functional safety HAZOP, PHA, LOPA, Human Factors RA and MAH. Audits against each department for compliance.
• To coordinate the Company’s Integrated Management Systems with regard to ISO14001 and ISO 45001.
• Take an active role in the site emergency response teams and site/main incident controller.
• Support and advocate COSHH assessments on site, occupational health, PTW risk assessment on site.
• Responsible for all stakeholder management with SLT.
