Job summary

NRL Recruitment seeks an experienced HSE Manager (COMAH-experienced) to join a major EPC project in Grangemouth on a full-time, permanent basis. This hybrid role blends on-site work with one day of remote work to optimise safety performance on a high-stakes engineering contract.

You will oversee the QHSE function, lead audits and risk assessments, liaise with regulators and stakeholders, and support project leadership in delivering compliant safety objectives across the site.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in an HSE leadership or management role.
  • Strong understanding of HSE legislation and industry standards in engineering/EPC.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of COMAH regulations and compliance.
  • Experience conducting audits, incident investigations and developing HSE strategies.
  • Excellent communication and engagement with all stakeholder levels.

  • Develop and lead HSE audits and investigations, identifying root causes and corrective actions.
  • Distribute safety alerts, action plans and implement effective induction programmes for new personnel.
  • Drive a positive HSE culture and continuous improvement across all project activities.

Summary

An experienced HSE Manager (COMAH Experienced) is required to join a major engineering project on a full-time, permanent basis. This hybrid role combines time on-site in Grangemouth with remote working, providing an excellent opportunity for a health, safety and environment professional to make an impact on a key EPC contract.

Location and Working Pattern

Grangemouth

Hybrid working: Minimum four days on-site, one day remote

Full-time, Monday to Friday
