Turn this role into an interview — a resume and cover letter built around what this employer wants.
Morgan Ryder is seeking a hands-on HSE Manager for a standalone role on a SME manufacturing site in Blackpool. You’ll be on the shop floor, challenging standards and driving practical improvements across the site.
You’ll own HSE across operations, with solid UK legislation knowledge, ISO 45001/14001, incident investigation and RIDDOR experience, and practical machinery risk assessments and guarding. This is a highly applied safety role with autonomy.
A hands-on HSE role where you can make a genuine difference.
We're looking for an experienced HSE Manager who has operated as a standalone lead within an SME manufacturing environment and knows how to turn good HSE practice into real-world results.
This is not a role for sitting behind a desk. You'll be on the shop floor, working with people, challenging standards, solving problems and driving improvements across the site.
The business is looking for someone who can take ownership, quickly understand where the gaps are and build a stronger, more proactive HSE culture.
You'll ideally have:
This is a varied manufacturing site with a wide range of equipment and processes, so someone who enjoys getting to grips with different machinery and practical safety challenges will thrive here.
We're particularly interested in people who are used to working with autonomy and accountability, rather than those who have always operated within large HSE teams with multiple layers of support.
A highly regulated manufacturing background isn't necessarily a disadvantage, but you'll need to be comfortable in a less structured, hands-on SME environment where you have to make things happen.
This is a fully site-based role in Blackpool, 5 days per week, every week.
You’ll have real ownership, visibility with leadership and the opportunity to leave a lasting mark on the site.
