Job summary

Aureos is seeking a Health & Safety Manager to support a major demolition project at a nuclear licensed site in the UK. You will provide health, safety, quality, and environmental guidance, driving risk reduction and a strong HSEQ culture.

Leading the HSQE function, you will mentor staff, manage audits, and ensure governance across CDM 2015 and related legislation while coordinating with the client and project team.

Qualifications

• ,NEBOSH Diploma – Level 6 required.
• IOSH Chartered Membership required.
• Valid driving licence.
• CSCS Health and Safety Managers Card required.
• At least 5 years in heavy construction and/or demolition.
• Major projects experience and Tier 1 contractor exposure.
• Strong knowledge of CDM 2015 and HSE legislation.
• Proven track record in accident investigations.

Responsibilities

• Lead HSQE strategy on a major demolition project.
• Facilitate risk assessments/workshops with experts.
• Maintain health and safety risk register and CPP.
• Ensure compliance with nuclear licenceholder requirements.
• Mentor direct reports and promote HSQE culture.
• Deliver KPI reporting and incident investigations.
• Liaise with regulators and clients.
