Job summary

Azenta UK, Ltd. is hiring an HSE & Facilities Specialist to oversee the site’s safety management systems and drive continuous improvements in environmental, health and safety performance.

The role reports to the Global Senior Director of C&I Operations and involves coordinating audits, training, incident investigations and contractor management. The ideal candidate will have NEBOSH or equivalent qualification, strong data reporting skills and experience with ISO9001/ISO13485 compliance, plus

Qualifications

• Experience working with a variety of stakeholders and driving EH&S improvements.
• Qualification in health and safety such as NEBOSH or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to achieve excellent environmental, health & safety standards across the business through management systems and continuous improvement.
• Assist in corporate EHS assessments/management plans.
• Support with customer & corporate ESG information requests.
• Follow up with line managers for incident investigations, near misses, etc.
• Assist development of EHS communications and training content.
• Assist internal audits for ISO9001, ISO13485 & H&S compliance.
• Update H&S KPI data and accident statistics.
• Assist in preparing health & safety training for new starters.
• Be POC for facility maintenance issues and coordinate contractor interactions.
• Organise fire drills and maintain the fire marshal list.
• Support leadership with facility/layout changes.
