Job summary

Saipem in the UK seeks an HSE Engineer to support the ENI Liverpool Bay Project decommissioning and CCS initiatives. You will develop and manage the safety management system across EPIC project phases, coordinating with the Project HSE manager and site teams.

The role requires 3–7 years in oil & gas, Nebosh diploma, and ISO 45001 Lead Auditor certification. Travel to London occasionally is expected; location is Talacre. This contractor role is full-time with UK right-to-work essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in HSE or engineering field; Nebosh diploma required.
• 3–7 years oil & gas / onshore project experience.
• ISO 45001 Lead Auditor certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, define and supervise HSE procedures at project and construction level.
• Lead Risk Management process (HAZOP, HAZID, Hazard and Effect Management Process, Risk Assessment, etc.).
• Support implementation and compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
• Plan and conduct internal HSE audits.
• Coordinate and prepare HSE files and other deliverables following CDM regulations.
• Lead accident / incident investigation.
• Complete supplier HSE evaluations, readiness reviews and review supplier HSE documents to ensure they meet the Project requirements.
• Cover for HSE Trainer, PTW Officer and HSE Officer.
• Record, coordinate and monitor HSE Performance and KPI's.

Purpose of the position:

As HSE Engineer you will report to the Project HSE manager. You will ensure the correct development, management and improvement of the safety management system throughout the engineering and development phases (EPIC Projects) of our ENI Liverpool Bay Project (Decommissioning & Carbon Capture and Storage).

How can you support us? Here below your responsibilities:

• Plan, define and supervise HSE procedures at project and construction level

What are we looking for?

• Education: Qualification in HSE or engineering related field, Nebosh diploma
• Experience: 3-7 years in the Oil&Gas industry and onshore projects with activities in construction design regulation management and survery/investigation
• Certification: ISO 45001 Lead Auditor
