Job summary

G&P, a world-leading quality management services provider, seeks an experienced HSE Project Manager/Compliance Lead with DSEAR knowledge to lead a high-impact compliance programme within a manufacturing environment.

The role involves reviewing DSEAR findings, prioritising actions and coordinating across Operations, Engineering, Maintenance and HSE teams from Warwick, with site visits to Blackpool and Warrington.

Qualifications

• Experience with DSEAR and hazardous substances
• Strong project delivery and stakeholder engagement
• Manufacturing/industrial environment experience
• Paint shop operations and risk controls
• Leadership of improvement programmes

Responsibilities

• Review DSEAR findings and validate action status
• Build and maintain a prioritised improvement plan
• Coordinate Operations, Engineering, Maintenance and HSE stakeholders
• Monitor progress and drive timely action closure
• Support improvements in hazardous substances and paint shop controls
• Track risks, issues and dependencies
• Escalate barriers and provide leadership updates
• Conduct an independent paint shop safety review
• Leading HSE, compliance or engineering improvement programmes
• Working knowledge of DSEAR and hazardous substances
• Strong project planning, reporting and problem‑solving skills
• Effective engagement from shop floor to senior leadership
• Manufacturing or industrial environment experience
• Exposure to paint shops, spray booths or surface finishing
